A European partnership across research and industry
EMPowerMet brings together research organisations, universities and industrial partners across Europe to validate the project's technologies through three industrial demonstrators.
Partners driving the project forward
EMPowerMet brings together 15 partners across 7 European countries, spanning research organisations, universities and industrial partners. The consortium is coordinated by LKR Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen to deliver three industrial demonstrators over 36 months.
A subsidiary of AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, LKR Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen is Austria's leading applied research centre for light metal alloys and sustainable metal processing. As coordinator, LKR leads the EMPowerMet demonstration work package, manufacturing hybrid components via wire-based directed energy deposition (waDED) and conducting final testing.
